Senior Vice President and General Counsel, VMware, Inc
Amy Olli became General Counsel of VMware in 2017. Under her leadership, the legal department is now more than 50 percent female and has higher-than-average representation among African-Americans and Hispanics. In 2019, she and VMware partnered with PracticePro on a program that supports diverse law students. Before joining VMware, Amy led the legal department at Avaya, where she co-launched a "Women in Leadership" program designed to help women drive organizational change.
Named one of "100 Women of Influence" by Silicon Valley Business Journal, Amy is also a strong believer in the impact of mentoring: "I do not believe in a single path to success; however, I do feel that accessibility can lead to opportunity which can result in success."
VMware was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2022.
