2012 LCLD Fellow
Angela Hilt became Chief Legal Officer of Clorox in 2021, after holding roles of increasing responsibility over 15 years with the company. She was also an LCLD Fellow in 2012. Before joining Clorox, Angela practiced corporate law at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP in San Francisco. She is a past president of the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and served on the board of directors of the Society for Corporate Governance.
Diversity initiatives at Clorox include a supplier diversity program and employee resource groups. In 2019, the company announced goals around pay equity and representation of women and minorities. In 2020, the company was named a "Best Company for Women to Advance" and a "Best Employer for Diversity."
In 2021, Clorox was named an LCLD Top Performer for the sixth consecutive year. The company also received the award in 2013 and 2014.
