Chief Legal Officer, Dropbox 

Bart Volkmer joined Dropbox in 2011 and became General Counsel in 2016. He was previously an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. Bart also serves on the Board of Open Door Legal, a nonprofit dedicated to providing universal access to civil representation. 

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Bart created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Bart's pledge here. 

Diversity efforts at Dropbox include an apprenticeship program for engineers from underrepresented groups, career development programs for minorities, and language coaching for employees whose first language isn't English. The company also releases an annual report of its progress on diversity and inclusion.
