Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel, Dominion Energy, Inc. 

Carlos Brown joined Dominion in 2007 as Senior Counsel and held positions of increasing responsibility before becoming General Counsel in 2017. He is also Richmond Commissioner to the Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Board, a gubernatorial appointment, and serves on the Board of Directors of FeedMore, a hunger relief organization. 

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Carlos created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Carlos's pledge here

Carlos is committed to diversity both at Dominion and beyond. He is the inaugural Chair of the Dominion African American Resource Group and also spent five years as Chairman of Boaz & Ruth, a nonprofit that works to revitalize inner city communities. Dominion’s other diversity initiatives include a Diversity Scholarship Program and a supplier diversity program.

Dominion was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2021 and 2022.
