Senior Vice President and General Counsel, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company 

David Phillips became General Counsel of Goodyear in 2019. He joined the company in 2011 as Senior Legal Counsel, Real Estate and Finance and served in leadership roles on numerous key initiatives, including launching TireHub, a distribution joint venture. He was previously an associate as Jones Day. 

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, David created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read David's pledge here. 

Diversity initiatives at Goodyear include seven employee resource groups and diversity and inclusion certification for recruiters. The company also endeavors to have qualified female and minority candidates on every executive slate.
