Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Con Edison 

Deneen Donnley joined Con Edison in 2019. She was previously General Counsel of USAA, where she was an active LCLD Member, speaking at the 2018 LCLD Annual Membership Meeting and joining the LCLD Board of Directors. Deneen's other previous roles include General Counsel of ING Direct USA and staff attorney for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. 

Deneen has been named one of the “Most Powerful Woman in Texas” and serves on the Board of Girls Inc. of San Antonio and the General Counsel Steering Committee of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Her personal commitment to diversity includes participation in the Alumnae Committee of DirectWomen, an organization that works to increase the representation of women on corporate boards. 

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Deneen created a Leader's Pledge detailing her personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Deneen's pledge here

Con Edison is proud of its diverse workforce; as of 2019, 48 percent of all employees were minorities and 21 percent were women, while 28 percent of leadership roles were held by minorities and 31 percent by women. The company's diversity and inclusion efforts include forums and workshops that encourage healthy dialogue around sensitive issues; Power Your Future, an information session that educates women about non-traditional career paths; and initiatives to help parents balance work and family.
