A member of LCLD’s Board of Directors, Denise Keane represents the spirit of diversity in and out of LCLD. At Altria, Denise heads a diverse legal team and helped develop the Diversity and Inclusion Award, which recognizes law firms that are leaders in those areas. She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Women in the Profession.

“Altria’s Law Department believes that a culturally sensitive workplace that fosters and capitalizes on diversity of perspective is better able to serve the company’s business objectives and produce better results,” Denise said in Altria’s 2012 newsletter. “Diversity of thought is critical and it comes from having a diverse group of individuals.” Altria was named a Most Active Member Corporation in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
