Executive Vice President and Chief Legal and Risk Officer, Target Corporation
Don Liu joined Target in 2016 after holding executive positions at Xerox, Toll Brothers, and IKON Office Solutions. He has been active in the legal diversity community, serving as Chair of both the Minority Corporate Counsel Association and the In-House Counsel Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Don is also vocal about the importance of mentoring, saying, "I’ve always had a long list of mentees, and many of them are now general counsels at Fortune 500 companies, having created their own success stories after moving on from the companies where we worked together."
Diversity and inclusion are key values at Target; within the legal department, for example, the Target Corporation Law Preview Scholarship assists minority law students. Target was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2014, 2016, and 2021.
