An engineer-turned-attorney, Ivan Fong joined Medtronic in 2022. He was previously Chief Legal Officer—and an LCLD Member—at 3M, where he drove the legal department’s diversity efforts, including launching a relationship partner successor summit. Ivan’s previous roles include General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Chief Legal Officer of Cardinal Health, and law clerk to Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court. He also serves on the boards of Equal Justice Works and Minnesota Public Radio.
