Kamla Alexander joined Dentsu in 2021 as General Counsel, Americas. She was previously Senior Managing Counsel for Commercial Transactions at The Coca-Cola Company, where she was also nominated as an LCLD Fellow in 2017. While at Coca-Cola, Kamla also led the U.S. Privacy Compliance program to prepare the company for the California Consumer Privacy Act, and in the fall of 2018, she worked in Toronto on a short-term assignment with Coca-Cola Canada to gain international experience. Kamla also served as Chair of Coca-Cola's Legal Division Diversity Council from 2013 to 2016, during which time the company received the Daily Report’s 2016 “Legal Department of the Year” for its work in the diversity space.

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Kamla created a Leader's Pledge detailing her personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Kamla's pledge here

Dentsu Aegis's diversity and inclusion initiatives include employee advocacy groups, inclusive leadership workshops, and flexible work arrangements. In 2020, The company also launched a global mentorship program for female-founded startups called Female Foundry
