Senior Vice President & U.S. General Counsel, National Grid
Keri Sweet Zavaglia serves as National Grid's U.S. General Counsel and oversees a team of approximately 100 attorneys and staff responsible for all commercial and regulatory legal affairs across its service territories in New York and New England. She previously served as the Vice President, Performance and Strategy for National Grid's three New York operating companies and as the Acting Vice President of Upstate New York Gas Operations Maintenance and Construction. Prior to joining National Grid in 2006, Keri served as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia in the Repeat Offenders Unit.
Keri was recently named by the National Diversity Council to its 2022 Power 50 list. She serves as the Executive Sponsor of PRIDE (National Grid’s largest employee resource group supporting our LGBTQ+ community); is the Chair of the American Heart Association’s 2022 CNY Heart Challenge and a member of the Executive Leadership team; serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Joseph’s Health Hospital; is a member of Executive Women in Energy; and serves on the legal committees of multiple industry organizations.
National Grid is one of 418 companies to be included in the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which aims to track the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting, and one of the 173 companies who took part in the 2021 Workforce Disclosure Initiative, which aims to improve transparency and accountability on workforce composition across our operations and supply chains.
