Lindsay Beardsell joined Tate & Lyle in September 2018. She was previously Group General Counsel of Ladbrokes Coral Group PLC and has served as Head of Legal and Regulatory for Gazprom Energy Group across Europe.

Diversity initiatives at Tate & Lyle include employee resource groups and a supplier diversity program. The company believes in the importance of diversity at a senior level; following its Board Diversity Policy, as of May 2020, 30% of board members were female and 30% were ethnic minorities. Tate & Lyle has also worked over the last few years to improve the percentage of women employees and women in senior management roles, and publishes an annual gender pay gap report as it works toward pay equity.
