Marie Huber joined eBay as General Counsel in 2015 after holding a similar role with Agilent. She also serves on the Board of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. In 2015, Marie received the Women of Achievement Award from the Women’s Legal Defense and Education Fund.
Marie has been an advocate for gender diversity throughout her career. On improving gender diversity, she said in an interview: “Make it about the business imperative and have men, in addition to women, drive closing the gap.”
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Marie created a Leader's Pledge detailing her personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Marie's pledge here.
eBay’s workforce is 42 percent female and 39 percent minority. The company recently founded the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) and has earned perfect scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index every year since 2009.
