Michael Holston joined General Electric in 2018 as General Counsel, after six years at Merck & Co. He was previously General Counsel of Hewlett-Packard Company, where he started the legal department’s first formal pro bono program. Mike also spent time as a prosecutor in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
GE has several employee resource networks and has received a perfect score on the Human Right Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index every year since 2014. In 2017, GE announced goals of having 20,000 women fill STEM roles at GE by 2020 and obtaining 50:50 representation for all of GE’s technical entry-level programs.
