Natalie Lamarque joined New York Life in 2014 as an Associate General Counsel in the Litigation Group. She held various roles of increasing responsibility, before becoming General Counsel in 2020. She previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York. Natalie also serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Society of New York, a not-for-profit legal services organization that provides legal representation to low-income New Yorkers.
In 2019, Natalie was named a "Woman Worth Watching" by Diversity Journal. Of her leadership philosophy, she wrote: "Every time you lift another, your career and your legacy are strengthened. Letting others stand on your shoulders is the only way to truly develop them; it is the hallmark of great leaders and great organizations."
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Natalie created a Leader's Pledge detailing her personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Natalie's pledge here.
