Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, General Mills, Inc. 

Richard Allendorf came to General Mills in 1998, where he led the international division and oversaw global ethics and compliance before becoming General Counsel. At a 2014 Learning Experience at General Mills, he told Fellows, "Being a leader is based on how you behave and how you think. Every time you show up, you have to add value.”

General Mills views diversity as both a value and a business strategy. The company has a variety of programs for women, minorities, and veterans. General Mills is a top-50 company for diversity and a signatory of the U.N. Women's Empowerment Principles. The company was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2014, 2020, and 2021.
