Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, UnitedHealth Group
Rupert Bondy became Chief Legal Officer of UnitedHealth Group in 2022. He was previously General Counsel at Reckitt, a consumer goods group focused on hygiene, health, and nutrition products, and Group General Counsel of BP plc. Rupert also spent time in private practice, working in San Francisco and London.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Rupert created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Rupert's pledge here.
UnitedHealth Group has a Diversity and Inclusion Council that directs diversity initiatives for its employers, suppliers, and customers. UnitedHealth has also created many community-based diversity programs, including the Diverse Scholars Initiatives and a Health Equity Services Program. UnitedHealth was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2020.
