General Counsel, Ally Financial
Scott Stengel became General Counsel of Ally in 2016 after holding a similar position at UMB Financial Corporation. He was previously a Partner at King & Spalding LLP and began his career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Douglas Tice, Jr. in Richmond, Virginia. Ally Financial’s diversity efforts include work-life integration, leadership training, and mentoring for employees. Ally also partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte on a mentoring program that teaches skills like financial literacy, problem solving, and public speaking to elementary school students.
