Shannon Higginson joined lululemon in 2011 as Vice President of Legal, and became General Counsel in 2016. She was previously Senior Counsel at telecommunications company TELUS, and an associate at Bull, Housser & Tupper in Vancouver. Shannon spends her free time running, playing tennis, practicing yoga, and coaching soccer.

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Shannon created a Leader's Pledge detailing her personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Shannon's pledge here. 

In 2020, lululemon announced several new diversity initiatives, including a career development program for diverse talent, a public report of employee demographics, and efforts to remove bias from the hiring process. The company also launched antiracism training for all employees and achieved 100% gender pay equity.
