President, Banner Witcoff

 

Binal Patel was elected President of Banner Witcoff in January 2021. Calling the firm his “professional home” for the past 25 years, he has served on the Board of Directors and is known to many as a trusted mentor and advisor. Beyond his practice, Binal plays an instrumental role in promoting and advancing diverse attorneys across the country as the co-founder of the South Asian Bar Association of Chicago and the South Asian Bar Association of North America.

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Binal created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Binal's pledge here. 

Banner Witcoff approaches the advancement of DE&I from three angles: Internal Actions, Client & Industry Engagement, and Social Action Efforts. The firm’s Diversity & Inclusion committee facilitates diversity initiatives, programs, and scholarships, including the Banner Witcoff Women’s Alliance (BWWA) and the Donald W. Banner Diversity Scholarship for diverse 1L and 2L law students. The firm’s board of directors is made up of attorneys representing diverse backgrounds, practice areas, and geography.
