Brent Ballard joined Calfee, Halter & Griswold in 1985, became Partner in 1993, and was elected Managing Partner in 2004. In addition to overseeing the firm’s day-to-day management and executing strategic initiatives, he also continues to counsel clients on real estate, general corporate, commercial business, and finance law. Brent also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and is President of the Union Club of Cleveland.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Brent created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Brent's pledge here.
In 2018, Calfee, Halter & Griswold joined Ohio Business Competes, a non-partisan coalition of businesses committed to achieving non-discrimination policies at the state level. The firm’s other diversity initiatives include three affinity groups, mentoring, and a diversity supplier program.
