Member, Lewis Rice LLP
Bridget Hoy decided to pursue a legal career after serving in the Air Force, where she was named Outstanding Airman of the Year. She is now a member of Lewis Rice's Management and Diversity and Inclusion committees. Bridget also served as an adjunct law professor, has mentored in the St. Louis Public Schools, and is Treasurer for the Ronald McDonald House Charities in St. Louis.
Lewis Rice has inclusive roots: in 1909, its founders "overlooked the traditional Christian/Jewish distinctions within law practices at the time and melded their different religions...to form a successful law firm." It was one of the first law firms in St. Louis to name an African American equity partner, and women have served on its Management Committee for more than 30 years. Other diversity initiatives at Lewis Rice include its Women2Women forum, a mentorship program, and diverse recruitment and retention policies.
