Chairman and CEO, Foley & Lardner LLP

Daljit Doogal became Chairman & CEO of Foley & Lardner in 2022. His practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and restructuring law matters across the Manufacturing, Automotive, Technology, and Supply Chain Sectors. Prior to his election as chairman and CEO in 2022, Daljit’s long tenure at the firm includes many leadership roles, previously serving as Managing Partner of the firm’s Detroit office, and as Chair of the firm's national Business Law Department. He is the Co-Founder of the Detroit Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, a member of the South Asian Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Directors of Boys & Girls Club of America, Midwest Region. 

At Foley & Lardner, 58% of department chairs, 50% of the management committee, and 38% of US managing partners are diverse. The firm's diversity efforts include affinity groups, recruiting efforts, and partnerships with external organizations.
