He has won numerous awards for his support of diversity, including Lawyer of the Year, the American Bar Association Medal, and the Role Model Award from the Equality Forum. David also co-led the historic civil rights case Perry v. Schwarzenegger against gay and lesbian discrimination. Boies, Schiller & Flexner’s diversity efforts include a summer fellowship for diverse law students.
