Chair, Locke Lord LLP

David Taylor became Chair of Locke Lord in 2018, after serving as Managing Partner of the firm’s Houston office and Chair of the Finance Committee. He also serves on the boards of Greater Houston Partnership and the Greater Houston Area Salvation Army. 

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, David created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read David's pledge here. 

Locke Lord’s diversity efforts include diversity pipeline programs, mentoring, and a women’s initiative. The firm has been recognized for its diversity by MultiCultural Law magazine, the Texas Diversity Council, and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Locke Lord also publicizes a list of women and minority attorneys who hold leadership roles at the firm.

In 2022, Locke Lord was named an LCLD Top Performer for the fourth consecutive year.
