Chief Executive Officer, Dechert LLP
Henry Nassau became CEO of Dechert in 2016 and is the former Chair of the firm’s Global Corporate and Securities group. He has spent much of his career at Dechert, but also spent several years as General Counsel of Internet Capital Group.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Henry created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Henry's pledge here.
Diversity efforts at Dechert include engaging a diversity consultant to assess all lawyers, an extensive family leave policy, and cultural competence seminars. The firm also has a Global Women’s Initiative and engages in pro bono projects aimed at improving diversity, including helping immigrant women find stability in the United States and challenging discriminatory voter registration laws.
