Chairman and Managing Partner, Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP
Jonathan Skeeters became Chairman and Managing Partner of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in 2018; he previously served on firm’s Finance and Recruiting committees. A soccer player for the University of Kentucky, Jonathan says the skills he learned on the field still influence his leadership style: “I was always more of the assist guy than the goal-scorer. What I’m doing now is, I’m trying to lead the firm, but I’m trying to make a difference for other people: attorneys, the staff, our clients.” Jonathan also serves on the Board of Adventure Science Center in Nashville.
Bradley’s diversity efforts include a regular diversity summit that brings together attorneys, clients, and summer associates, and diversity scholarships for first- and second-year law students. The firm’s Winn Initiative—named after its first female partner—provides programs, mentorship, and leadership development to female attorneys. Bradley also participates in the High Academics Summer School Mock Trial, where attorneys work with high school students from rural communities in Alabama.
