U.S. Partner-in-Charge, Jones Day
Kevyn Orr became U.S. Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day in 2021, overseeing the firm's 18 U.S. offices. In his practice, he provides strategic crisis management advice in the areas of business restructuring, distressed M&A, corporate governance and decision-making in distressed environments, and complex commercial litigation and settlement negotiations. In 2013, Kevyn was appointed Emergency Manager of the City of Detroit by the Governor of Michigan.

Jones Day hired its first female associate in 1960 and celebrated its 100th female partner in 2000. The firm has extensive partnerships with national diversity organizations and law student diversity groups, has pipeline programs all over the country, and offers mentoring groups to promote an environment of inclusion.
