Managing Partner, Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC
Maria Ginzburg is a Founding Partner of Selendy Gay Elsberg, and became Managing Partner in 2022. Before joining Selendy Gay Elsberg, she was a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis and Quinn Emanuel. Maria and her family emigrated from the former USSR when she was 5 years old and spent time as an investment banker before going to law school. She was a founding member of the Stanford Journal of Law, Business & Finance and currently serves on the Board of the Ronald McDonald House of New York.
Selendy Gay Elsberg is majority-owned by women and was founded with a focus on unbiased hiring, training, and promotion, as well as building an inclusive culture where diverse talent feels supported. The firm is transparent about its diversity; as of 2020, more than half of the firm's partners are women, 21% of its attorneys identify as LGBTQ, and 30% of associates identify as people of color.
