Global Managing Partner US, Squire Patton Boggs
Michele Connell became Global Managing Partner US of Squire Patton Boggs in 2022. She joined the firm in 2003 and is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group. Prior to attending law school, Michele was as a diplomat in the US Department of State, serving in the US Embassies in Poland and Honduras, and received the Meritorious Honor Award from the US government for her service. She also serves on the boards of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the United Way of Greater Cleveland.
Squire Patton Boggs’ diversity initiatives include employee resource groups, a women’s initiative, and diversity recruiting partnerships. The firm partners with several groups that promote diversity in the United Kingdom, including annual participation in the Black Solicitors Network Diversity League Table. Squire Patton Boggs has received eight consecutive perfect scores on the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index.
