Co-Managing Partner, Jenner & Block LLP
Randy Mehrberg is Co-Managing Partner of Jenner & Block and Co-Chair of the firm's Energy Practice. He began his legal career in 1980 as an associate at Jenner & Block and became Partner in 1986. In 1993, he became General Counsel and Lakefront Director for the Chicago Park District. He returned to the firm in 1997 and stayed until he joined Exelon as its General Counsel in 2000. He rejoined Jenner & Block in 2016 and became Co-Managing Partner in 2020.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Randy created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Randy's pledge here.
Jenner & Block promotes diversity at all levels through recruitment, scholarships, affinity groups, and community involvement. The firm received the President’s Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers for consistent support of female lawyers. Jenner & Block was also the first firm inducted into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame and sees participation in LCLD as an important part of improving diversity overall.
