Chairman, Goodwin Procter LLP

Rob Insolia became Chairman of Goodwin Procter in 2019 after serving as the firm's Managing Partner. He is also a Founding Partner and former Chair of the firm's New York office. Rob will be leading the firm in its Move the Needle Fund participation, through which Goodwin has committed to increase the diversity of its senior associate, partner, and equity partner roles to match the diversity of entry-level associates, and to achieve 40% diversity on all firm leadership committees, within five years.

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Rob created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Rob's pledge here

Goodwin Procter has a variety of diversity initiatives, including programs for racial and ethnic diversity, women, and LGBT lawyers. The firm is involved in a mentoring program in Boston, has a fellowship opportunity for law students of color, and partners with organizations like Legal Outreach, Inc., which acts in underserved communities.
