Chairman, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP

Roger Furey joined Katten in 2001; prior to becoming Chairman in 2016, he was Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. One his goals as Chairman is to provide more development opportunities for associates and young partners.

As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Roger created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Roger's pledge here

Katten’s diversity programs include the Women’s Leadership Forum, the Minority Associates Committee, and an LGBT Coalition. The firm sees partnerships with external organizations, including LCLD, as an important part of promoting diversity in the profession. Katten has been named a top firm for diversity by MultiCultural Law magazine and a “Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign.

In 2022, Katten was named an LCLD Top Performer for the tenth consecutive year.
