Chairman and CEO, Akerman LLP
Scott Meyers became Managing Partner of Akerman in 2018. He was previously the Founding Managing Partner of the firm's Chicago office, where he led the growth of that office from seven lawyers to nearly 60 in four years. Scott is also the former Master of the Bench of the Chicago Inn of Court.
Akerman LLP has ranked in the top 50 for diversity and No. 6 for Hispanic lawyers. Diversity efforts include a diversity committee, sensitivity training, same-sex domestic partner benefits, and the first minority legal pipeline program in Florida.
Akerman was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2020 and 2021.
