President, McDonald Hopkins LLC
Shawn Riley became President of McDonald Hopkins in 2016. He was previously Managing Member of the firm's Cleveland office and founded the firm's Business Restructuring Services Department. From 2011 to 2015, Shawn also served as Mayor of Gates Mills, Ohio.
A first-generation college graduate, Shawn values the importance of mentoring and led McDonald Hopkins to partner with College Now of Greater Cleveland, an organization that provides mentors to high school students.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Shawn created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Shawn's pledge here.
Diversity efforts at McDonald Hopkins include a Women in Leadership Program, scholarships for minority college and law students, and a Women's Council that provides networking and business development for women in the firm.
