Sigrid McCawley became Managing Partner of Boies Schiller Flexner in 2021. She is a nationally recognized litigator, having been named Litigator of the Year by The American Lawyer, Top Ten Female Litigator in 2020 and 2021 by Benchmark Litigation, and a Thought Leader 2021 by Corporate Counsel. Sigrid has made appearances on Netflix, Lifetime, 60 Minutes, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and Fox, and her work has been featured in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She also serves on the boards of ChildNet, which manages the protection of over 3,000 neglected and abused children in South Florida, and Jack & Jill.
Boies Schiller Flexner’s diversity efforts include several affinity groups and a summer fellowship for diverse law students. The firm has regularly tackled important social issues and fought for marginalized groups, including the successful representation of plaintiffs which invalidated California Proposition 8 banning same-sex marriage. In 2022, Boies Schiller was named a Best Palce to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.
