Balch & Bingham’s commitment is clear—to ingrain, support, and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at every level of the firm. To that end, the Firm has a dedicated role in which a member of the professional management team works alongside the Firm’s leadership and DEI Council to provide strategic direction and management of the firm’s DEI efforts, lawyer recruiting, and associate development program.
Balch’s commitment to DEI extends beyond the workplace to the communities in which we live and serve. The firm developed the Susan B. Livingston Boot Camp for Success, its signature pipeline program that equips underrepresented pre-law students with the tools they need to achieve success in law school and throughout their legal career. Through the firm's Balch Business Boost program, attorneys, and staff support qualifying minority and women-owned businesses with free or low-cost legal services.
