Managing Partner, Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP
Ted Mayer became Managing Partner of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in 2011 after leading the firm’s Litigation department. He has served on the New York City Bar Association’s Judiciary Professional Responsibility committees. In June of 2016, Ted hosted the Eighth Annual Opening Reception for the Ronald H. Brown Law School Prep Program at St. John's University School of Law.
As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Ted created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Ted's pledge here.
Hughes Hubbard & Reed’s commitment to diversity began in 1916 when the firm’s founder campaigned for women's suffrage. Today, the firm’s diversity initiatives include a variety of affinity groups and both formal and informal mentoring programs for diverse associates. Hughes Hubbard is also an initial signatory of the New York City Bar’s Statement of Diversity Principles.
