Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a Mentor in the 2022-2023 LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program.*

Your personal involvement is what makes this program invaluable for future, up-and-coming attorneys from diverse backgrounds. Your talent, dedication, and perspective will have a powerful effect on the Mentee with whom you will be working.

To be a Mentor, you must be an attorney at an LCLD Member organization (see eligible law firms and corporations), or an LCLD Alumnus. Attorneys of any experience level are welcome to volunteer as Mentors.

To complete your registration, fill out the form below and click "Sign Up" at the bottom by the extended deadline of January 13, 2023 in select cities. LCLD staff has begun matching Mentors with Mentees via e-mail notification. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to expedite your matching process and capitalize on the time available for the mentorship.

We would also appreciate any input from you as you participate in the program. Please e-mail Nancy Richardson with any comments, questions, or suggestions. And thanks again for volunteering!

*If you are an LCLD program participant or alumnus who is no longer employed by an LCLD Member organization, and you would like to become a Mentor, please contact Nancy Richardson. We also welcome you to learn more about how your organization can become an LCLD Member by clicking here.

Mentor-Mentee Matching Options

You have the option to sign up in either the in-person city model or the virtual model. In the city session, you will be matched with a Mentee within your city. In the virtual session, you will be matched with a Mentee anywhere nationwide.

In the "Please tell us about yourself" section below please do NOT include a link to your bio.  A short sentence or two in this section will help with the matching process and is only shared with LCLD.

City or Virtual Session*

Select a city in which to be matched with a Mentee, or select the “Virtual” option if you would like to be matched with a Mentee located anywhere in the U.S.
