Leadership Positions
Denise Galambos is Senior Vice President, Customer Operations and Chief Customer Officer for Baltimore Gas & Electric. She is responsible for overseeing the processes, systems and planning that support internal and external customer interfaces, including BGE's customer contact centers, billing, accounts receivable and related services, service quality investigations, field and meter services, customer compliance and claims, and energy assistance. Professional History Denise has held several leadership roles at Exelon. Before moving into the Chief Customer Officer role, she was Vice President of Utility Oversight within Exelon Utilities and responsible for identifying and developing policy positions which further the overall Exelon Utilities business strategy across multiple operating companies. She ensured coordination on key issues such as non-wires alternatives, distribution planning, decarbonization and electrification strategies. Prior to her policy role, she was Vice President of Human Resources where she oversaw labor relations including a first contract negotiation, talent management, succession planning, compensation and diversity, equity and inclusion at Baltimore Gas and Electric. Prior to her human resource role, she worked in Exelon's legal department as an Associate General Counsel for labor and employment. Prior to joining Exelon, Denise was of-counsel at Morgan Lewis & Bockius in Washington, D.C., specializing in labor and employment law and a litigation attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Labor. Education She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and received her bachelor's degree from Princeton University. Civic Involvement Denise is active in the Baltimore community, serving on the boards of the Hippodrome Foundation, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Arts for Learning, Maryland, and SquashWise.
