Derick Holt, Partner, Wiley Rein LLP (LCLD 2018 Fellow)
Derrick represents clients in a variety of international trade matters, including antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, export controls, and sanctions compliance programs. He practices before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S Court of International Trade, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. His work involves a broad range of industries, including steel and downstream steel products, aluminum extrusions, and renewable energy products. When Derick is not protecting domestic industries from unfairly traded imports, he represents low-income D.C. residents in landlord-tenant disputes
Cecilia Sanabria, Partner, Latham & Watkins LLP (LCLD 2017 Fellow)
Cecilia represents clients across all phases of patent litigation and arbitration proceedings in a wide range of technologies, including medical devices, automotive parts, industrial machinery, mobile applications, and computer and other handheld electronics, and consumer goods. Ms. Sanabria brings experience in jury trials in US District Courts as well as hearings before the US International Trade Commission, examining fact and expert witnesses and arguing numerous issues in court ranging from preliminary injunction and evidentiary motions, to claim construction and post-trial issues. Ms. Sanabria's practice also includes counseling clients on IP issues in pre-product launch or business acquisitions, as well as advising clients on licensing issues. Ms. Sanabria also devotes time representing Spanish-speaking clients in immigration matters. landlord tenant disputes, and social security disability cases.
Rob Holland, Director and Associate General Counsel for Business Development, Licensing, Strategy and Portfolio. Sandoz Inc.(LCLD 2019 Fellow)
Rob manages strategic transactions and partner relationships necessary for the organization to deliver its products to customers and patients. Prior to joining Sandoz in 2021, Rob was Counsel at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Washington, DC. He is also a proud member of the LCLD Pathfinders Class of 2019.
