Attention Louisville and Columbus LCLD Mentors and Mentees
We will be hosting our next event, The Final Countdown: Knocking Out Stress with Mindfulness and Compassion, on April 14 at 5:30 p.m. (ET). This event will be a joint group event for the LCLD law school mentees and attorney mentors from Louisville and Columbus! We will be holding it virtually, so you will be able to participate in the comfort of your own home or office.
This event is for both students and practicing attorneys. Our goal is to provide you with tools to manage stress, anxiety, fatigue and worry about the future which are applicable to preparing for law school finals and to professional life. In this session, attorney, meditation teacher, and founder of the Brilliant Legal Mind blog, Claire E. Parsons, will share some strategies from her mindfulness and compassion training to help manage anxiety and stress as you prepare for and take your final exams. Although there isn’t much that you can do to make final exams, and sometimes work, less stressful, you can learn to treat yourself well as you face the challenge. Whether you are at school or at work, mindfulness helps manage anxiety and stress!
