Minnesota Alumni Month of Service

April 4; April 13; and April 27, 2023

In partnership with the Alumni Outreach Committee, Regional Leads, and City Leads, the Minnesota LCLD Alumni will be partnering with Good in the 'Hood, an urban-based organization committed to initiating and sustaining focused acts of kindness as a means of inspiring neighborhood decency and personal transformation.  This service project will focusing on their Food in the ‘Hood program, where volunteers serve a week’s worth of groceries to those facing hunger in the community.  Volunteers help set up the site for the day’s distribution and help clean up at the end of the evening.

There are three different time slots in April: 

• April 4, 2023, 4:45 to 8:00 p.m. at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington 
• April 13, 2023, 4:45 to 7:30 p.m. at Beacon of Hope Church in North Minneapolis
• April 27, 2023, 4:45 to 7:30 p.m. at Beacon of Hope Church in North Minneapolis 

Anyone who is interested in volunteering, please email City Leads Chris Fowlkes and Caryn Boisen with your selected date and time slot.  Please note that each time slot have a limited amount of volunteers, so sign up today!
