Safety: The Food Bank no longer requires that masks be worn or for a volunteer to show proof of vaccination to serve.  Masks are optional and available for those that would prefer one. Please reschedule your volunteer shift if you feel sick or if you recently were exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19. The Food Bank may reintroduce these requirements if periods of high community transmission occur.

We also require 1 adult chaperone for every 4 children (8-11 years) and 1 adult chaperone for every 8 youth (12-17).

Dress Code: Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flip flops, sandals or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing which you do not mind getting a bit rumpled. Some volunteers will be sorting refrigerated product. Please wear long pants and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket with you. In the event you are working elsewhere, we do have lockers onsite to place your outerwear.
