2023 Pathfinder Virtual E-Module Kickoff Workshop
Communicating for Success: Interpersonal Relationship Skills
Time: April 19, 2023, 3:00 - 4:30 pm ET
An integral part of the LCLD Pathfinder Program curriculum is the online experiential component, or Pathfinder E-Modules, which are released in April and July. The E-Modules are short, interactive modules packed with actionable advice and paired with action-oriented skill development assignments. Your E-module learning is supported by work within your Peer Circle and as part of the guided discussions that will be held approximately six weeks after the E-module launch.
This year's E-module topics include:
Self-awareness
Critical Relationship building
To set you up for success with the E-modules, we'll kick off by working on interpersonal relationship skills. Being able to build relationships with your colleagues is a key professional skill for attorneys. Using the basics of neuroscience as our context, we will explore how stress and external pressures impact our ability to communicate effectively and how we can strengthen connection and collaboration with our colleagues. You will leave this program with several frameworks and tools that you can use to assess your own communication and relationship-building skills and to develop those skills for maximum impact.
