Personal Commitment
- I will continue to use my voice as a leader of my firm to continue to promote and drive participation in my firm’s diversity, equity & inclusion training and education programming
- I will continue to use my position as Managing Partner to oversee and hold other firm leaders accountable for carrying out of my firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan
- I will continue to be an active participant in the firm’s annual First Year Law Student Diversity Case Competition
- I will continue to use my position as Managing Partner to ensure that the firm continues to recruit top diverse talent
- I will continue to use my voice and the support of my firm’s financial and other resources to support local affinity and charitable programs and organizations that advance the cause of diversity, equity and inclusion
- I will continue to embrace my own need for growth and understanding through engagement in diversity, equity & inclusion trainings, readings and discussions
Organizational Commitment
- The firm will continue to establish and monitor certain stretch goals for the hiring and retention of diverse and women attorneys and staff
- The firm will continue to implement diversity, equity & inclusion training and education programming for ≥75% of the firm
- The firm will continue to implement the “Rooney Presumption” and Diversity Fellowship in connection with its hiring efforts
- The firm will carry out certain action steps under its Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan aimed at making certain “hidden barriers” visible and/or eliminated, including client contact, mentoring & sponsorship, and feedback
- The firm will continue to sponsor and host the nation’s first and only annual First Year Law Student Diversity Case Competition
