Personal Commitment

• I will ensure diverse representation among my senior leadership team;
• I will meet with my organization’s Fellows, Pathfinders, and Alumni to discuss their experiences within the organization with a view towards incorporating their ideas for improving diversity team-wide;
• I will meet with our outside counsel with whom we engage with most frequently to synergize my organization’s and the law firms’ commitment to increasing and improving diverse legal representation.

Organizational Commitment

• I will enforce our commitment to diversity in our outside counsel billing guidelines;
• I will incorporate measurable efforts to improve diversity efforts into our annual business plan;
• I will require diverse slates for all hiring/promotions within the law department. I will ensure that the hiring manager and interviewers have a lens for understanding the business need for diverse talent/representation.
