Personal Commitment

The Law and Compliance Departments at Kroger have adopted the following plans to support the Framework for Action pillars:
- Participate in Greater Cincinnati Minority Counsel Program (“GCMCP”) mentorship/peer-to-peer advisor program pairing GCMCP members with attorneys outside of their places of employment and LCLD alumni programs and mentoring
- Participate in SWEL (Summer Work Experience in Law) and LLI (the Law & Leadership Institute), and other local/regional pipeline programs
- Monitor Law Department spend with minority/female-owned law firms and minority/female partners at law firms, in support of Kroger’s goal of increasing spend with diverse suppliers from $3.4 to $10 billion by 2030.
- Increase exposure to National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) firms
