- I will continue to sponsor and encourage our teams to engage in courageous conversations focused on diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
- I will continue to create opportunities for mentorship and sponsorship of diverse employees at WBA.
- I will continue to champion efforts to increase the engagement of diverse outside counsel and suppliers.
- I will encourage and support our participation in LCLD programs.
Organizational Commitment
- We will continue to advance diversity in our organization by improving pipelines and development opportunities for diverse talent.
- We will continue to track, monitor, and assess our progress on diversity goals within our department.
- We will require our partner law firms, through our outside counsel management processes, to strive to promote diversity within their ranks and in their goals for the teams who work with us.
- We will continue to use diverse candidate slates and interview panels for our full-time legal department positions in furtherance of our goals to attract, hire and retain diverse talent.
- We will continue to encourage our team members’ participation in LCLD and other professional organizations dedicated to promoting diversity in the legal profession, through our financial commitment and engagement with such programs.
- We will continue to focus on and assess our legal spend with diverse-owned suppliers.
- We will continue to support and build our relationships with LCLD and other diverse legal organizations.
