Personal Commitment

• Use my senior leadership position to advocate for diversity in the legal profession and to advance meaningful policies and programs to help achieve this goal, both within the U.S. and in the global markets in which we operate 
• Partner with legal service providers that demonstrate a similar commitment to diversity including via our U.S. external counsel engagement policy 
• Help increase the level of diversity of the pipeline into the legal profession by actively and personally engaging with high schools, colleges, and other organizations that work to promote more diversity in the profession 
• Connect with peers at the local and national level to share best practices and to support and implement initiatives that advance diversity in the legal profession 
• Personally mentor individuals with diverse backgrounds to help establish and develop their careers within the legal profession

Organizational Commitment

• Ensure our Global Law and Compliance & Ethics Department (“Department”) continues to maintain a culture of inclusivity that reflects the Company’s values and goals
• Ensure our Department utilizes diverse candidate pools for open positions and that a broad and inclusive perspective is taken in hiring and promotion decisions, reflecting the value diverse backgrounds and experiences can bring to our Department and Company
• Engage external counsel in line with our U.S. external counsel engagement policy and continue to develop and implement similar policies for other global markets
• Communicate our expectations on diversity to our law firms both within the U.S. and in other global markets, and continue to employ metrics and survey data to monitor and measure progress
• Continue to expand and develop our Larry Thompson Fellowship Program, both within the U.S. and in global markets to provide law students from diverse backgrounds legal intern opportunities within our Department
